Sadly I have to say goodbye to another friend. We met in playgroup and have done all sort of "mom activities" together, but we've also had some good child free adventures! Thanks for all the good times Heather, see you in the States for our next big road trip :)

Last weekend we decided to have one last hurrah in the wild city of Canberra! Our first night out together we splurged on a hostel, but why would we do that now that Heather has awesome Irvan the Urvan. We found a parking lot that didn't look like we'd be either arrested or kidnapped in and set up camp! Started off the evening with some goon (boxed wine) and the best pulled pork sandwhich I've ever had!!!! Then we hit the town! Had a super yummy peach cocktails at a speak easy style bar. And since it was our last hurrah we also went to the Kilroys type bars, for all you Hoosier readers. Cheap drinks, and wide variety of customers to put it nicely!!! Had another decent sleep in good ol Irv and didn't get arrested for sleeping in a parking lot!
During the week we had a massive play date with FIVE children aged 6 months to 4 years AND we managed to get them all to sleep durning nap time! We also went to see Inside Out, which was a great movie.
Last night we had a great time out in Yass. The Smiths last au pair Pauline is in town for the weekend, so it was a big au pair night! Lots of white wine was consumed and we had some good laughs.
We've tried to say goodbye a few times, but tomorrow will be the day :(
I'll miss you heaps Heather, and that posh English accent of yours!
